How to Create a Crystal Wedding Tree Centerpiece
You can use small bare branch trees, pre-lit branches like these available at Save-on-crafts.com, or this pre-lit option. The easiest choice is a metal centerpiece tree. The cheapest option is to use real tree branches from your backyard.
If using real branches, take your branches outside and spray paint them with either silver or white paint. Let them completely dry before placing them into a tall vase. Place your vase on the mirrored tray. Fill your vase with sand to keep the branches in place. You can also add seashells or glass gems to the vase.
Wrap the string lights around each branch. Next, hang your crystal strands from the branches. For a dramatic look, hang multiple strands on each branch. You can also get crystal garland and wind it around each branch. Amazon.com offers a variety crystal garland.
Add any additional items you want to your tree. You can add flowers with floral wire or tape and use ribbons to tie bows or ornaments to your wedding tree. Lastly, add your crystal vase gems to your mirrored tray with votive candles and flower blossoms. Done!
Create a Money Tree
To create a money tree, buy a miniature tree from a nursery. Hang crystal strands, money, or jewelry from the branches. To add money to a branch, use green or white paperclips with matching ribbon to attach the money. You can find little roses at any craft store. Tie ribbon on any jewelry you want to add. Use LED string lights to light your tree. If your branches are sturdy enough, you can also hang flameless votive candles from them.
Once you have created you beautiful wedding centerpiece, you can decide what you want to hang from it. You can hang a combination of things, or just choose one item to repeat on each branch.
